So, it happened again. At 5:37am this morning the season we have been long awaiting showed up…and not a moment too soon. I think we all have been looking forward to this date on a calendar, hoping it would usher in warmer weather in which to get out and work around the yard, and it appears we may indeed get this wish fulfilled. Yet, be cautioned, for we can also expected more freezing nights, cold, wet soil and usually a snow flake or two to put a tamper on our eagerness to push Mother Nature ahead of her intentions.

But I hope at the very least, today’s date brings a smile to your face (and soul) that brightens your day and reflects the outlook of better things to come. You know, like digging in the dirt and planting those first seeds or pansies of the year!
