“No occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, & no culture comparable to that of the garden.”

— Thomas Jefferson, 20 August 1811

Since 1996, Canterbury Plantation has been growing plants for customers throughout New England, both gardener and garden center alike.  Located 11 miles north of New Hampshire's capital of Concord, the town of Canterbury has a rich tradition of agricultural activity since 1727, of which we are proud to be a part of to this day.

Our plants are sold through garden outlets and at various plant sale days and markets.  Our Farm Stand is open on select days from April to September, with product changing as we finish off new crops every couple of weeks.   Check our Farm Stand page for a list of dates and times!  In the future, we hope to offer online sales (for customer pickup) as we develop our online catalog.

In addition to growing plants, we offer fine gardening services, from consultation and design through installation and maintenance.  When not digging in the dirt, we offer a number of home services, from erasing your "Honey-Do" list to complete room renovations.  For more information on any of these services, check our Fine Gardening & Home Services page.
